The Midnight Diner

My virtual environment follows the story of a farming family in mid-west USA who built a diner to service their local community. The community was close-knit, and the family was known for their diner as well as their farming truck that always sat proudly out the front.

The untimely death of the owners and disappearance of their truck in the early 70's sparked some conspiracies about what had happened to the family. The new owners of the diner took advantage of the folklore and enhanced the theme by changing the name of the diner to the Midnight Diner and encouraged the discussion about mysteries surrounding the family.

Customers share stories of sightings of the truck and theories about the family being lost in a local canyon. Some even say that sometimes, when the night is dark and no one is around, you can see the truck parked right outside the diner.
